Calculation assumptions
- Agirc-Arrco scheme for private-sector employees, compulsory scheme contributions only: the basic state pension, special schemes and self-employed schemes are not covered.
- The projection assumes the same gross salary over the whole period entered: a real career strings together different salaries, hence a different number of points each year.
- Points granted without contributions (compensated unemployment, sickness, maternity, disability) and purchased points are not calculated: the actual account may be higher than the figure shown.
- Temporary solidarity and increase coefficients are not applied: the scheme abolished them for pensions taking effect from 1 December 2023, and a few months later for those already in payment.
- Lifetime early-retirement coefficients, applied when the supplementary pension is claimed before the basic scheme's full-rate conditions are met, are not modelled: they reduce the pension permanently.
- Increases for children born, raised or dependent are not calculated: they are expressed in euros rather than points and do not appear on the points statement.
- The pension shown is a gross amount: the CSG, CRDS, Casa and any health insurance contribution due on the pension are not deducted.
