What Salomé had actually accrued by July
Hired in March, Salomé had worked four full months by the end of June. At two and a half working days a month, she had accrued ten working days, a little under two weeks rather than the four requested. Her employer is right in principle. He is wrong if he reasons in five-day working days: ten six-day working days correspond to about eight five-day ones, and conflating the units skews the count by a fifth.
