What Garage Delmas is really taking on
The eighteen-year-old falls within the age limits of principle. But the deal is not a long internship: it is a contract of employment, and the garage undertakes two distinct things — paying a salary, which the next module shows is not freely set, and providing complete vocational training split between the workshop and the training centre. The young person, in return, undertakes to work and to follow that training.
