Eight thousand euros, and two reminders too many
A printer lets an invoice of 8 000 €, due on 15 March, run on. He chases by telephone in April, then by email in May, then again in June. None of those reminders interrupts anything or adds any right. A formal notice sent in April would have produced a legal effect, and left the debtor three fewer months to organise insolvency.
