- service-public.gouv.fr — sheet F3053 "Arrêt maladie : indemnités journalières versées au salarié": for a monthly-paid employee, the daily reference wage is the total of the three last gross salaries received before the sick leave divided by 91.25; the salary taken into account is capped at 1.4 times the monthly minimum wage, that is 2 613.82 € in 2026; daily benefits equal 50 % of the daily reference wage, with a cap of 42.97 € gross; they are paid after a waiting period of three days applying to each new absence; the social security pays at most twelve months of benefits over three consecutive years, or three years where a long-term condition is recognised; page verified 1 June 2026 — verified on September 13, 2026
- ameli.fr — "Arrêt de travail pour maladie : les indemnités journalières du salarié": during the first three days of the absence no daily benefit is paid, which is the waiting period; the insured may receive 360 days of daily benefits over a maximum period of three years, or three years where a long-term condition is recognised; for an absence longer than six months, one must have been affiliated for twelve months and have worked at least 600 hours over the twelve preceding months, or have contributed on a salary equal to 2 030 times the hourly minimum wage; daily benefits bear social levies in the same way as wages (l. 216), quoted verbatim from the French page as served: « 0,5 % au titre de la contribution au remboursement de la dette sociale (CRDS) » (l. 217) and « 6,2 % au titre de la contribution sociale généralisée (CSG) » (l. 218) — this page, not fiche F3053 which says only « des taux particuliers » (l. 382), is what grounds the two rates taught here; read on 2026-09-13 — verified on September 13, 2026
