Calculation assumptions
- Statutory regime of the French Labour Code, absent a more favourable company or collective agreement; reference period from 1 June to 31 May.
- Input is in months of actual work already converted: 4 weeks or 24 days of work count as 1 month (art. L3141-4). Isolated weeks or days are not computed here.
- Additional leave is not computed: split-leave days, seniority days under collective agreements, two days per dependent child (for employees under 21, and for older employees within the maximum annual leave, Labour Code art. L3141-8).
- The business-day count is derived from the full entitlement of 25 business days (equivalent to 30 working days) spread over 12 months; it must guarantee rights at least equal to the statutory working-day count.
