Calculation assumptions
- Statutory regime of the French Labour Code (art. L3141-24), absent a more favourable collective or company agreement; indemnity for leave days taken, not the end-of-contract compensatory indemnity.
- The gross pay of the reference period is taken as entered: the engine does not sort the elements to include (salary, overtime, seniority or attendance bonuses, benefits in kind) or to exclude (annual bonuses already covering the leave period, profit-sharing, expense reimbursements).
- Salary maintenance is computed in days (monthly salary × days taken ÷ days in the month), with a uniform daily schedule; the employer may compute it in actual hours, with a difference of a few cents.
- Without input, the days in the leave month are an average: 52 weeks ÷ 12 months × 6 working days (26) or × 5 business days (21.67). Enter the actual number of days of the month concerned for an exact result.
