Worked example
Two months, two different documents
Rent of €720 and charges of €90, that is €810 a month. In March the tenant pays €810: the landlord issues a receipt showing €720 of rent and €90 of charges. In April they pay only €500: the landlord issues an acknowledgement for €500, with no receipt, and the €310 balance remains due. No fee is charged in either case.
