Calculation assumptions
- Enter expenses NET of the aid received to fund them: the personal autonomy allowance (Apa), the childcare supplement (CMG), employer aid or prefunded Cesu must be deducted before entry — the calculator does not deduct them.
- This is a tax credit, not a tax reduction: the part exceeding the tax due is refunded, including to a household that pays no income tax. The calculation does not compare this credit with your income tax.
- Only expenses paid to a declared employee (Urssaf, Cesu) or to a declared association, company or organisation qualify for the credit: an undeclared service cannot be entered here.
- Each person counted raises the ceiling by €1,500. The reduced €750 increase for a child in shared custody is not modelled: count that child as one person, and the resulting ceiling will be slightly overstated.
- When a household member is disabled, the €20,000 ceiling applies as such, with no increase per dependent and whatever the year of employment: it is the highest ceiling of the scheme.
