French form 2065 — corporate-tax results return
Form 2065-SD is the annual results return of companies subject to French corporate tax. It is filed electronically together with the tax package (2050-2059 under the standard regime, 2033 under the simplified regime) and summarises the taxable result, the split between the standard and SME reduced rates, and offset items. The resulting tax is then paid via slips 2571 (instalments) and 2572 (balance).

Fill in the official form online
Free. The official PDF is filled on the fly: your entries are not recorded in any of our databases and are only used to produce this document. They travel in the request body, never in the page address.
All fields are required unless marked “optional”.
A draft is a file you save wherever you like, just like the document itself: we keep no copy of it and nothing is left in your browser. When signed in, you can also save it to your space to pick it up later — only if you ask.
Official form pre-filled with your data: read every box and check the amounts before filing or paying.
Who this applies to
- All companies and bodies subject to French corporate tax, by default (SAS, SASU, SA, SARL…) or by option (EURL, SCI…).
- The return is due even for a loss-making or dormant year.
Worked example
Example: Atlas SARL closes on 31 December
Atlas SARL ends the year with a €61,000 taxable result computed on form 2058-A. In spring it files the 2065 with its tax package electronically: corporate tax is settled at the applicable rates, after crediting the instalments already paid via the 2571 statements.
How to fill it in, step by step
- Fill in the company identification (SIRET, accounting year, regime).
- Report the taxable result determined on form 2058-A.
- Detail the profit allocation and the requested annex information.
- Attach the full tax package (balance sheet, income statement, annexes).
- File electronically (EDI-TDFC) within the deadline.
The form, line by line
- Identification (box A)
- Company name, registered office, SIRET, tax regime and the declared period.
- Taxable result (box C)
- Taxable profit or loss after the package's tax adjustments (table 2058-A under the standard regime) — not the accounting result of form 2053.
- Rate split
- Split between the 15% SME reduced rate (up to €42,500, subject to revenue and ownership conditions) and the 25% standard rate — estimate the amount with the linked corporate-tax calculator.
- Annexes 2065 bis/ter
- Directors' remuneration, distributed income and additional information.
- Amount carried (box E)
- The reference tax amount carries to instalment slip 2571-SD and balance slip 2572-SD.
- Form 2065 never travels alone
- The return and its schedules are one whole: tables 2050-SD to 2059-G-SD under the normal regime, tables 2033-A-SD to 2033-G-SD under the simplified one. It is the whole set that must be filed electronically, not form 2065 by itself.
Good to know
- The 2065 is filed WITH the tax package, never alone.
- Instalments paid via form 2571 are credited against the assessed tax — keep the statements at hand.
- Form 2065-SD (CERFA 11084) is for companies liable to corporate tax generally. A non-profit legal entity uses a different form, 2070 (CERFA 11094) — picking the wrong one at this stage gets the whole filing rejected.
- The return is filed with the tax office for the place where the business has its principal establishment.
Common mistakes
- Reporting the accounting result instead of the taxable result (missing 2058-A adjustments).
- Applying the SME reduced rate without checking the conditions (revenue ≤ €10m, capital ≥ 75% held by individuals).
- Not filing in a loss-making or dormant year — the return remains mandatory.
- Paper filing: electronic filing is mandatory.
- Forgetting to carry the amount over to the 2571/2572 payment slips.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between form 2065 and the tax package?
2065-SD is the results return itself; the package (2050-2059 or 2033) provides its accounting and tax schedules. They are filed together.
Must a loss-making company file form 2065?
Yes: the return is mandatory even with a loss or no activity — and the loss becomes carry-forwardable.
How is the declared tax paid?
Through four quarterly instalments (slip 2571-SD) based on the reference tax, then a balance (slip 2572-SD) by the 15th of the 4th month after year end.
How is the declared corporate tax paid?
In four quarterly instalments (slip 2571-SD) based on the reference corporate tax, then a balancing payment (slip 2572-SD) on the 15th of the fourth month after the year end.
Where do I find the official 2065 form?
On impots.gouv.fr (form 2065-SD, 2026 edition available) — filing goes through EDI or EFI electronic submission.
Which schedules must accompany form 2065?
Tables 2050-SD to 2059-G-SD under the normal regime, or 2033-A-SD to 2033-G-SD under the simplified regime. The official guidance places the return AND its schedules under the same electronic-filing duty.
