German statutory accident insurance for employers
Employees are insured against accidents by law, and the business alone pays the contribution. The first module goes from the competent Berufsgenossenschaft and the notification within one week of the start to the contribution formula of pay, hazard class and contribution rate, and the wage statement due by 16 February. The second separates work and commuting accidents and covers the accident report once incapacity exceeds three days, the employer's liability privilege with recourse for gross negligence, and injury benefit at 80 per cent of regular pay.
