Calculation assumptions

  • The calculation covers a single person or a jointly taxed couple, children in exclusive custody or in alternating residence, and the single-parent increase (box T). Out of scope: a widowed person with dependent children (a couple's shares plus an additional reduction), the half-shares for disability, war veterans, a disabled child or dependant, and the half-share of a single person who raised a child alone (box L).
  • The tax shown is that of the scale alone, to the cent, before the tax rebate (décote), reductions and credits: it measures the family-quotient saving, it does not establish the final tax, which the tax authority rounds to the euro.
  • The progressive scale is that of the income tax calculator, which this calculation inherits: any update to that scale therefore applies here too.
