Italian Chamber of Commerce annual fee (diritto annuale) — what you have to pay

Sole traders and bodies registered only in the REA pay a fixed amount for their registered office and for each local unit. Companies already on the register apply banded rates to the previous year's turnover, add 20 % for each local unit, halve the total and then add any surcharge set by their Chamber. The amount paid is rounded to the nearest euro.

Sources and assumptions

Calculation assumptions

  • Ministerial amounts and rates for 2026 — fixed amounts already halved — as published by the Chambers of Commerce of Pistoia-Prato and Bergamo.
  • You enter the surcharge yourself: each Chamber sets its own (many apply 20 % for 2026-2028); if yours has not adopted one, enter 0.
  • All local units are charged with the same surcharge as the registered office; a unit in another province pays that province's Chamber, which may apply a different surcharge.
  • Not covered: simple partnerships (agricultural or not), law firms organised as companies, local units of businesses based abroad, and the 0.40 % increase for paying within 30 days after the deadline.
