Calculation assumptions

  • Purchases made in 2024, 2025 or 2026, which share a EUR 5,000 cap (article 16(2) of Decree-Law 63/2013, extended to 2026 by the 2026 Budget Law). No text read so far provides for purchases in 2027.
  • New furniture and new large appliances of the minimum energy class required, bought to furnish the renovated home; the tool does not check the class or the type of goods. The cap applies per dwelling: for several dwellings, run one calculation each.
  • If you enter your taxable income, the first yearly instalment is compared with your gross IRPEF at 2026 rates: the deduction only runs up to your gross tax and anything above it is lost.
